He has worked as a facilitator for over 16 years working with child and family services, treatment centers, recovery houses, schools, and international mediation firms. His background has included counseling in cases of substance abuse, suicide, violent crimes, and parental abuse. He is also familiar with dysfunctional family issues, sexual harassment, learning disabilities, child development, anxiety, stress, and depression.

Teresa earned her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle, Vancouver. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #2172).
She has more than 20 years of experience working with families experiencing a variety of challenges from parenting concerns and protection issues to anger management and domestic violence. She has significant experience working with folks navigating child protection, court and criminal justice systems.
Teresa understands that seeking help takes courage. She is collaborative and strength-based in her approach. She provides a supportive, respectful and non-judgmental environment. She utilizes many different modalities including Family Systems, Client-Centered and Attachment Theory, depending on the goals and preferences of her clients.
Teresa also supports and guides other professional therapists by providing clinical supervision.
